Please join me in congratulating Edwin Bakker on his appointment as the new National Coordinator for Marist Youth Ministry.
I am delighted that Edwin has been chosen to lead MYM both nationally and regionally in the southern states, as well as having oversight of our new Marist schools program Game Changers. The transition from Remar to Game Changers as well as our newly developed Strategic Plan, has created the moment for new leadership, with fresh energy and ideas to be brought to MYM.
Edwin brings a love of Jesus and the Gospel and an enthusiasm for forming Marist disciples in the way of Mary and Champagnat, as we have all witnessed in his leadership of Remar these past two years.
We wish Edwin and the 2020 MYM team all the best as they move into a new and exciting phase of evangelisation and formation of young people in the Marist way in Australia.
