Water Project

$250.00

The Water Project draws inspiration from the guiding Marist document, Water from the Rock: Marist spirituality – flowing in the tradition of Marcellin Champagnat. The Water Project highlights the importance of community strength and solidarity, likening the group to the early Marist Brothers who understood the significance of water as a symbol of life and emphasising the importance of unity and flexibility.

In addition, the Water Project draws on the rich symbolism within the Catholic-Christian tradition of living water, “out of the believer’s heart shall flow rivers of living water” (John 7:38). As contemporary Catholics, living water is symbolic of the workings of the Holy Spirit. In spreading the Good News through acting with love and compassion, students within the Game Changers Water Project become living water for the wider community, wellsprings of hope and makers of change.
