MYM Programs for Purchase

The Game Changers Projects serve as a template for schools to execute a specific social justice campaign. Through Game Changers Projects, students build a sense of family spirit and solidarity over the course of a school term by engaging in seven lunchtime or afterschool meetings and planning and executing a specific social justice campaign designed to meet a need within the local or wider Marist community.

Students are invited to participate in four distinct Game Changers Projects over the course of Years 5 and 6, each with a particular goal and theme which considers facets of both the Marist and Catholic- Christian traditions. Through each Game Changers Project, students are encouraged to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the lives of Jesus, Mary, and St. Marcellin Champagnat.

Marist Youth Forums are designed for maximum engagement and interactivity, allowing students to voice their thoughts, ideas and opinions within a community context. Shaped around key themes, Forums help students grow as authentic disciples of Jesus, in the way of Mary and Saint Marcellin Champagnat.

Forums are available for students in years 7-11, with tailored content aimed at each year level. Forums are offered in three modes:

  • central offerings gathering metro- school groups for a 5-hour program

  • on-site/full cohort offering facilitated by MYM

  • on-site/full cohort facilitated by your staff (all required resources provided for FREE)
